Behind every change in the field there is a story
Every change in agriculture is always someone’s personal story. Often it is a story of struggle, risk, and victory.
I am currently working on a book about regenerative agriculture. It will include my own stories, as well as examples from Ukrainian and foreign farmers. But it is important for me to include your voices too, so that other farmers can see that change is possible.
Please share your stories about:
🌿Regenerative practices – minimizing tillage, cover crops, extended crop rotation, integrating livestock, mixed cropping.
💧 Combating drought and conserving moisture – which methods worked and which didn’t?
⚗ Reducing chemicals – how did you reduce the use of fertilizers and plant protection products?
❌ Failures and mistakes – what went wrong and how did you remedy the situation?
💰 Economic results – did you notice a difference in costs and profits?
💡 Advice to colleagues – what would you say to a farmer who is unsure whether to give it a try?
