I would like to share my idea.
Back when I was just mastering no-till technology, every day on the field I had to face various important questions that I did not have an answer to.
While traditional farming, which is based on tillage, has a wealth of experience and all issues are more or less researched, there are still a lot of white spots where the soil is not tilled.
Unfortunately, our agricultural science is not really interested in this system of farming, and therefore, where there is no tillage, there is no scientific research.

And then I began to set up experiments in the production conditions of my farm. Those who have been watching the No-Tiller channel for a long time have had the opportunity to observe these experiments on various issues – wide-row crops, seeding rates, peculiarities of plant nutrition and protection, the use of various equipment, and the cultivation of cover crops, etc.
This work is very interesting, and it was a pleasure for me to do it! But all practitioners know firsthand how difficult it is to combine research work with the production process. That is why many of my questions remained insufficiently researched.
With the outbreak of a large-scale war with Russia, I lost the opportunity to do my favorite thing – work on the land. But I got the time that I always lacked.
Last year, I used this time to write a book called “No-till for Beginners”, which can help farmers take their first steps in no-till farming.
This year, I have a new idea that I am working on and I want to share it with you.
I want to start doing research again, so I came up with the idea of creating a No-till Research Center. This will be a platform where it will be possible to conduct a variety of experiments on growing various cash crops and cover crops without tillage, studying various elements of No-till technology, testing various equipment, conducting field educational activities, etc.
The goal is set and the first task to be solved is to find a place for this project.
Now I am looking for a land plot of 50 hectares or more in Kyiv or neighboring regions on a lease basis.
I want to ask farmers for help. Maybe you can tell me something about land? Maybe someone near you is ready to lease such a plot? Maybe some agricultural enterprise is ready to support this project?
If you have any suggestions for this project, please write to E-mail: dragmi@no-tiller.com
