British farmers visit Agroosnovy – not just a visit, but a live meeting of like-minded people
On April 16, my wife Halyna and I accompanied a group of British farmers who came to Ukraine as part of another humanitarian mission. These people are not just interested in agriculture – they have been helping Ukraine for two years now by donating vehicles for the Armed Forces, medics and humanitarian teams. This time, 17 vehicles were delivered from the UK to Lviv.

In addition to the aid mission, they asked to see a farm that uses No-till technology. There are not many such farms in western Ukraine, but one of them, Agroosnova Farm, is located in Sokal, not far from Lviv. That is why we went there.

The founder of the farm, Ihor Shainoha, met us with his family.
Right on the field, Ihor organized an impromptu exhibition of crops and machinery: he showed what is grown on the farm, what the crops look like, and what machinery is used in the No-till system.
He told his British colleagues about his approach to farming, dug up the soil together and discussed its condition, and looked at the sprouts of legumes and winter wheat crops.

Everything happened right on the field, without any officialdom, but with practical details and a sincere exchange of experience.

Such meetings are more than just an exchange of knowledge. It is a mutual nourishment of faith.
We once again thanked our guests for helping Ukraine in these difficult times.
And as a token of my gratitude, I gave everyone my book “No-till for beginners” in English with this signature:
With deep respect and gratitude for your support to Ukraine.
Together, we grow hope – even in hard times.
