After getting acquainted with the technical park of Thinus Glitz’s farm in Germany, we stopped at a seeder that particularly attracted attention – MULTISEM from the Ukrainian company Avers-Agro.
This time the conversation was joined by Thinus’s father, Willi Glitz, who gave up the plow in 1997, and Timur Sharabidze, the head of Avers-Agro.
“We have been working without plowing for 25 years. The soil has changed. The animals in it have come to life. Water erosion has disappeared. The structure has improved.”
— Willi Glitz
Nowadays, MULTISEM is used not only for sowing cover crops, but also for main crops: oats, wheat, peas.
“This seeder is simple, reliable, and has no unnecessary electronics. It is also affordable. For us, this is the optimal solution.”
— Thinus Glitz
Neighbors are already asking for their services – last season alone, they sowed more than 1000 hectares of fields in the region.
